این پروژهٔ پژوهشی و علمی که بین سال‌های ۱۹۹۴ تا ۲۰۰۸ توسط موزهٔ ون‌گوگ و مؤسسهٔ هویگنس انجام شد، به بررسی و دیجیتال‌سازی ۹۰۲ نامهٔ ونسان ون‌گوگ (۱۸۵۳-۱۸۹۰) پرداخته است. نتایج این تحقیق شامل یک وب‌سایت، یک مجموعه کتاب شش‌جلدی و یک نمایشگاه ویژه در موزهٔ ون‌گوگ است.

دربارهٔ این مدخل
بازنویسی فارسی شرحِ رکورد نهاد ارائه‌دهنده در یوروپیانا؛ متن با کمک مدل زبانی از همان منبع برگردانده شده، هر جمله در بازبینی دوم با منبع سنجیده شده و هر عدد آن به‌طور خودکار با منبع مقابله شده است.
این پروژه با هدف دسترسی آزاد پژوهشگران و علاقه‌مندان به آرشیو نامه‌های نقاش و همچنین حفظ مواد اصلی دست‌نویس اجرا شده است. هیئت داوران این پروژه را به دلیل فراهم کردن امکان مشاهدهٔ همزمان بازتولید نامه‌های اصلی و مراجع آیکونوگرافیک آن‌ها، نمونه‌ای موفق در ترویج میراث فرهنگی اروپا دانسته‌اند.
رکورد اصلی — بازیابی ۲۷ اکتبر ۲۰۲۶. اندازه‌ها، تاریخ‌گذاری و پیشینهٔ مالکیت به همین نمونهٔ ثبت‌شده تعلق دارند و به همهٔ نمونه‌های مشابه تعمیم داده نمی‌شوند.

Thanks to the digitalization and the free access on internet of the research, it is now possible to read the entire archive of the letters of the painter in their original version and translations. Moreover we really appreciated the possibility to see at the same time the reproduction of the original letter and their iconographic references. The projects on the World scale represents a very good example of diffusion and spreading of the immaterial European cultural heritage, contributing to the safeguard of the original autograph material"؛ From 1994 to 2008 the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam and the Hugens Institute (part of the Royal Dutch Academy of Science) in The Hague conducted in-depth research on the letters of Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890). The results of this study will be come publicly available in threefold: 1. A freely accesible website with all the 902 letters from and to Van Gogh, complete annotations and with new English, so people all over Europe and the rest of the world can benefit from it. 2. A complete illustrated and annotated book edition will be published in six volumes and three European languages (Dutch, English and French) 3. The presentation in a special exhibition at the Van Gogh Museum where about 100 letters will be on display |
